I had the great pleasure of watching a clinic at Bishop Mule Days where Jerry Tindell worked with several mules and their owners.

I've never seen anything like it.

He made it very clear that the mule didn't KNOW what he was asking for, but he fussed with it, keeping the feet moving, until it chose the right response and got the RELEASE of pressure.

I know that to people who train mules all the time this is old hat, but he does it with such a consistent positive energy, and good humor, that I was utterly captivated.

For the first time I can see that ground work holds the key to the riding relationship, something I hadn't had any curiosity about before.

Fees are $450 for each 3-day clinic,
$350 for a 2-day clinic, $200 for 1 day
and $30/day to audit.
Arena Fees may apply in some locations.
