Do you know what gait your horse or mule does? What gait is a given breed supposed to do? If your horse or mule is not doing the breed signature gait, what is he doing and why? Jerry is offer- ing a class for gaited horses and mules and their riders. This class is an in-depth study of the movement of your horse or mule and will cover all the horsemanship skills—ground work, riding, softening and suppling drills and then get into great detail regard- ing gaits. All horses and mules will be evaluated and talked about in the class format to describe and understand what the feet are doing and then determine what is natural and what is not. We will study softness, giving to the bit, body control and building a cor- rect frame. As a special bonus, I will be assisted by Billy and Fran Odom who have had many years of breeding, training and exhibit- ing gaited horses.
Hope you can join us for a full, educated in-depth study of the gaited horse and mule. Class size will be limited!
