First day will be a review of basic horsemanship skills, and the six steps of control; learn-times. As students are ready, the second and/or third day will progress into learning trust forward movement, hindquarter control and directing shoulder movement, introduction to backing up and stopping with a soft feel, working on soft lateral controls while giving up the bit, maintaining lateral flexion and vertical softness, practicing smooth transitions (upward and downward) at the gaits (walk, trot, lope), riding with emphasis on staying on course or pattern. *Light breakfast and lunch served each day for $15 per person per day *Overnight corral for stock is $10 per night *No camping permitted on clinic site YOUR DEPOSIT WILL RESERVE YOUR PLACE – SPACES ARE LIMITED!
