- Please check in before you mount. You are welcome to warm up after checking in. There will also be time to warm up after the start if needed.
- Please be sure that your horses are up to date on their vaccines!!
- We recommend bringing at least one rope and a breakaway. The Hero Breakaway honda is a great option that can go on almost any rope with a standard honda. The NRS Neck Breakaway Honda is great if you have a separate breakaway rope. Please note that you are welcome to bring a reata if you have one.
- If using the pens, please bring your own water bucket, feed and clean your stall before leaving.
- Dry camping is available and included with your stall. There is an outhouse close to the arena. We ask that you please do not use your generator between the hours of 10pm-6am.
- Dogs can be allowed, but discouraged especially if they are not well mannered. And they MUST BE ON A LEASH OR TIED AT ALL TIMES. We have chickens that roam during the day and a lot of stock on site. We have mules and donkeys and if you are not aware they do not always appreciate dogs, especially dogs that they are not familiar with. It is out of safety for our stock and your dog that we require them to be contained. There is plenty of desert for you to take them on a walk or let loose.
- Physical location is 6868 Coyote Trail, Oak Hills Ca 92344
- GPS does pretty well with directions, but I would follow directions below from freeway. GPS will bring you to the front of the house to a driveway we do not use.
- From 15 North/South exit Ranchero head east.
- Go over Railroad Tracks and at next stoplight Cataba turn right.
- Dead end into Farmington make a Left
- Go about 300 feet and pavement turns into dirt.
- Make right along side oil field pipe and first left down lane.
- We’ll be there to help with parking. (Easy in and out and plenty of room for trailers.)
- If you turn onto Coyote from Ranchero make the first right at T onto Farmington. Bad street sign at Coyote and Farmington. Our place is the first driveway on the left. The only plus side if you get turned around is that most of the roads connect in a grid and are easy to maneuver.
