Jerry Tindell teaches Round Pen techniques to build a true connection between you and your horse or mule. Round Penning makes use of the natural “hard-wiring” of the equine mind to look for a leader, and to accept the leadership of the one who can move his/her feet. All handling skills – whether from the ground or in the saddle – begin in the round pen. Directing movement, pace, gaits, turns, stops, flexing, etc., can all be started in the round pen, with the horse at liberty (no halter).
